The highly anticipated action thriller Nobody 2 has made a strong impact at the Nigerian box office, earning ₦15.2 million during its opening weekend. The sequel, directed by Ilya Naishuller and starring Bob Odenkirk, was released in Nigerian cinemas on September 6, 2025.

According to local box office trackers, the film drew large audiences across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, with Friday and Saturday screenings selling out in several locations. The performance highlights the growing appetite for Hollywood action franchises among Nigerian cinema-goers.

Nobody 2 continues the story of Hutch Mansell, a seemingly ordinary family man with a violent past, as he faces new enemies. The original film, released in 2021, gained a cult following for its mix of gritty action and dark humor.

With ₦15.2M already secured, industry analysts predict the film could cross ₦40 million in Nigeria by the end of its theatrical run, depending on competition from Nollywood releases later this month.
